There are fake voodoo practitioners who network on social media sites. They claim they can cast love, revenge, health, and other spells. These scammers prey on the weak and connect with emotionally vulnerable victims. The voodoo doctor promises the world but only sucks the life and money of those who engage.
Some people have been jilted or own a secret crush on someone. Somehow there connect with a voodoo priest or priestess. Oddly and out of desperation, they believe the mysterious stranger can cast a spell. Nothing is free, so they pay the practitioner. The scam begins.
The objective of the blackmailer is to extract actions that show the victim's intent. They have them make videos chanting the name of the person they love or hate. They burn or rip photos; some will expose themselves in videos at the request of the fake voodoo priest. Also, the blackmailer will extract personal information like name, mobile, and social media of the spell's intended.
The content the blackmailer extracts are seriously humiliating and damaging. It demonstrates an extreme side to a person; it can be ugly too. Often the intended of the spell is someone close, like a co-worker, neighbor, or even the spouse.
Victims of voodoo blackmail are in highly charged emotional states. Often it is talking them off the ledge of life. It is one thing for someone to expose a person with photos of their body. There is something seriously invasive about inner intent, good or bad.
